Our fellow classmate and friend Chautele “Mia” Cooksey passed away June 4, 2012, in Miami Florida.  Mia was born August 15, 1970 and grew up in the Pecan Gap and Commerce area, but soon moved to Connecticut to start her schooling and career as a Skin Care Specialist. She moved to Florida in 1999 and built a successful Massage Therapy business.

She is survived by her mother Deborah Siebenhausen-Kiley (Pecan Gap); two sisters Diesa Rupert (Dallas) Rama Tomasik (White Settlement); one brother Condy Hammer (Saginaw); lots of nieces and nephews; and two handsome sons who carry on her beautiful spirit and that amazing smile Kaden Vega 12 and Ethan Santiago 9 both of Miami Florida.
